Fun at Home

Wake Dad up with breakfast in bed

Cook up some bacon and eggs, make tie-shaped pancakes or whatever you think Dad will love to start his morning with. Maybe just a cup of delicious coffee or bowl of cereal will do the trick for a low-key dad. Either way making breakfast for your dad will get the day started off on the right foot.

Look through those old pictures

Before you drive off on exciting adventures for the day, take some time to reminisce about the old days. Dust off the old photo boxes or open up that pictures folder on the computer. The kids will love seeing themselves as even tinier tots and Dad can enjoy taking a stroll down memory lane.

Pop in a DVD

Have Dad pick his favorite movie to watch at home. If your Dad is the indecisive type, pop in one of these classic Father’s Day flicks like “Daddy Day Care”, “Father of the Bride”, “The Godfather” or “Three Men and a Baby”. Watch while eating his favorite take-out food too.
