Whether you are looking to spend Valentine’s Day with someone special or with a group of Friend’s and Family, there is a good chance a great event is happening in your area!

We pulled some great events  from Romantic Vineyard Dinners to Wild and Crazy happenings in the DC Metro Area in celebration for Valentine’s Day.

Winery Events

 

Bogati Bodega, Round Hill, Va.

– February 14th– Love is in the air. Join us from 6pm until 9 pm for free appetizers; get your romantic evening started off right! Enjoy appetizers while listening to live music and enjoying your favorite Bogati Bodega wine. Each person that makes a purchase will be put in a drawing for the Wine Makers Dinner on February 15th, 2014 at 7pm.

– February 15th, Winemaker’s Dinner– This is an experience for people who love wine and food! Take a guided trip through freshly prepared mini-portions of a four course tasting adventure hosted by our Winemaker. As the Winemaker describes the food courses, he will explain why we have chosen each wine as the perfect compliment. Spend a wonderfully relaxing evening in the beautiful Enoteca room on this fabulous taste adventure. Seating is limited, so reserve now. Reservations are required; $75 per person plus tax and gratuity.

Breaux Vineyards Aphrodisiac Wine Dinner, Purcellville, Va.

– Tantalize your senses for Valentine’s Day this year with a dinner that will kindle your desire. Fall in love over a delectable seven course meal with a romantic menu perfectly planned to create the perfect date. Breaux BodegabogatiwineryVineyards has teamed up with Chef Author from neighboring restaurant Grandale Farms to create a gourmet menu of aphrodisiac foods that pair perfectly with our favorite wines. Hosted in our intimate Cork & Key room, this is an experience that is not to be missed. To insure that intimate experience, only a very limited number of reservations are available, so be sure to book soon so you don’t miss out.

Make your reservation before January 29th for special pricing: $115 per person, $110 for club members. All inclusive – includes reservation, service, wine and food.

Paradise Vineyards, Clifton, Va.

– Saturday, February 15th, 8pm. Enjoy a 4 course meal paired with your favorite Paradise Springs wines. Guests will also enjoy discounts on wine purchases this evening.

Veramar Vineyards “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend”, Berryville, Va.

– Make your valentine smile and come join us! Bring your special someone to this popular, annual Veramar event and you will have the chance to win a diamond!!! Savor wine and quality time together and enjoy delectable treats. What better way to spend your afternoon?! $25 per person includes a glass of wine and a plate filled with delicious treats. Cupid Undie Run

Cupid’s Undie Run is returning for its 5th year in Washington, DC!

This Valentine’s Day weekend, come put the hilarity in charity with hundreds of half-naked runners taking to the streets in celebration of their fundraising for the Children’s Tumor Foundation.

Be a part of something great. Last year Cupid’s raised over $1.3 Million to end NF and we’re relying on YOU to join and make this year’s fundraising (and party) the biggest and best yet.Start a team, join a team, or just run solo and make some new friends!

“Crimes of Passion” Experience at The National Museum of Crime and Punishment

February 13-15, 2014, Thursday, 4 p.m. until closing. Friday and Saturday, 7 p.m. until closing.

Spend Valentine’s Day weekend visiting a special exhibit unlike anything else offered on this romantic holiday weekend. Get handcuffed to your sweetheart and view over 600 exhibits regularly featured at the museum, plus exhibits explaining various crimes of passion and hear true stories such as the “Valentine’s Vampire.”

Woo at the Zoo

On Friday, February 14, woo your Valentine with the wild side of love. Woo at the Zoo is the only event in D.C. where you get jaw-dropping, cheek-blushing stories of the frisky flirtations animals use to sweep mates off their feet.

This year there will be a special emphasis on the Zoo’s giant pandas and why science had to step in.

Valentines will enjoy a complimentary drink and hors d’oeuvres and the opportunity to decorate sweets for your sweetheart. A cash bar will also be available featuring specialty drinks served in the exclusive Woo at the Zoo commemorative glass. All the fun takes place in the Zoo’s Visitor Center.

Terrapin Adventures- Valentine’s Day with an Adventurous Twist!

February 15-16, 2014, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 1:30-4:30 p.m. 8600 Foundry Street Savage, Maryland.
